This kind of Slings’ soft eyes are swaged with a conical carbon steel after been Flemish spliced, the quality of this operation is to obtain a smaller volume on the cross section of the Sleeve but without a WLL decreasing and a Sleeve shape suitable to make the Sling slide under the loads making you able to pull it out easily, in all the operations where the operator is not able to manually unhook the Sling from the load.
The carbon steel Sleeve, moreover, has an higher resistance to the wear compared with aluminum type.
