With an amount of more than 21 million euros, Centro Padane completed last September the work for two new motorway exit stations, one in Manerbio and the other in the South Area of Brescia, with the purpose, in both cases, to increase services available for travellers in transit.
Manerbio Exit project, which also involved SIRTEF in the work, was completely rebuilt in 10 months with a cost of € 2 million approximately, and despite the complexity the toll-station has always remained open during construction allowing access to the near hospital.
This work was necessary due to the significant traffic increase had in the area in recent years, characterized by a large flow of passengers using automatic payments, Telepass about 70%, which has been dedicated a special track.
Here below technical details of SIRTEF supply:
- Spiral strand d.38 mm with breaking load of 1285 kN, hot dipped galvanized class “A”,

- Total number of pennants: 16 pcs. with open and bridge spelter socket at the ends (make take-up 1200mm),
- End terminations finishing: hot dipped galvanized.
