A walkway suspended in the air for 12 meters, a sheer drop of 180 meters beneath his feet, the Mont Blanc range in front of the eyes.
These are the main and most evocative features of scenic bridge built over the Orrido dug by the river Dora Verney, a project that cost more than 400 thousand euros.
The bridge, a half-hour walk from the nearby Terme, is part of the project named “Scenic trail along Orrido of Pré-Saint-Didier,” launched by the local authority and funded by the Region which has invested nearly one million euro to complete the work.
The project was completed last fall and after having passed the ritual tests was inaugurated in this spring, giving the opportunity to all the guests of the SPA and of the Adventure Park to enjoy a fantastic view available by prime position.
SIRTEF took part in the production of the complete job by providing the spiral strands complete with custom made spelter sockets used for anchoring the structure to the rock surface.
The property is a mix of steel carpentry, concrete, glass and steel wire ropes. .
