The orders received can be considered quite often as “turn-key projects”, everything is in charge of who, as SIRTEF, takes care in any sense of lifting activities.
In order to manage these projects you need a high level of skills and competence and in this specifi case it is needed the capacity to analyze and manage the project in any possible aspect. SIRTEF designs, manufactures and tests customs made products in accordance with the existing international standard for quality and safety.
Based on the above criteria we manufacture a vast range of lifting systems engineered according to specific customers’ requirements, every single device is designed to be easily and safely used for a long time. We supply our beams complete with any kind of slings and pennants manufactured in house and of course with high quality accessories and fittings made by our reliable partners.

Single lifting beam, H lifting beam, lifting beam with duplex sling connection, spreader beam, telescopic beam, lifting beam with four connections, coils hook, special clamps, swage terminals or spelter terminals, stainless steel fittings, link plate, triangle plate, high capacity swivels, etc.
For each single project there are some key aspects that have to be carefully considered.
Scaling:
SIRTEF design its own beams according to the most up to date international standards and regulations. We pay as well particular attention to the choice of specific accessories to make easy and safe the lifting operation.
Upon request the beams can be supplied complete with the calculation note based on:
- EN 13155
- ASME B 3020
The calculation note and the manufacturing design:
may be supplied with a Third Party approval (A.B.S., R.I.NA, B.V., LLOYD’S REGISTER, etc.).
Testing:
SIRTEF is able to perform non-destructive tests with own qualified personnel such as >MPI and PT. Each single beam can be proof loaded (in accordance with the technical requirements of the purchase order) by means of weights and mobile crane with load cell.
Marking:
Each single beam is supplied with a metal label with a specific marking according to the existing regulations.
Finishing:
All our lifting devices are painted, the standard finishing in case of normal environmental working conditions is made of mechanical cleaning of the surface, one lay of primer and one lay of polyurethane top coating.
In case of specific needs it is possible to arrange a special finishing (Marine/Offshore coating).
Technical Documents:
Each single beam is supplied with :
- CE declaration of conformity;
- Certification according to EN 10204 type 3.1. for all the accessories supplied with the beam;
- Use and Maintenance Data Book;
- Detailed drawing.
In addition it is possible to request the calculation note and the drawings approved by Third Party, manufacturing and control plans and assist to the testing activities; all the above requirements must be agreed before issuing the purchase order.
